Is the anti-ISIS Campaign an Attempt to Renew War Against Assad?

An insightful interview arguing that ISIS works for the West and will be used as a pretext for the US to attack Assad's forces in Syria. I have long suspected this to be the case. Obama has shown himself to be every bit as warmongering as his neocon predecessors. It is the latest chapter in their doctrine of 'permanent war'.
